Hi Everyone! This is my first post! I am moving to Brasil very soon and I am so excited! I hope that this site will keep everyone updated on my adventures during my exchange year. Thank you so much for reading and being a part of my life! I will post every week or so about things that I have done. And life in general. I also have an email address, Hopen08@rye5450.org, that anyone can reach me at for more personal updates. (However, I don't know yet how often I will be able to write extensive letters). I would ask that everyone would keep me in your prayers as I enter a new culture, language, school, and life. I would especially appreciate prayers on getting everything done that needs to be done before I leave and also that I would learn Portuguese fast and eficiently and that I would be able to start getting involved in a local church.
